Three ways in
Three simple integration paths.
Use what exists today, follow what is being connected, or tell us what your business actually needs to connect.
Available now
Ready when you are.
Verified capabilities you can use today, straight after Review & Approve.
- CSV / Excel Payroll ExportAvailable
Export approved working-time information for payroll, accounting and further processing.
- Tripletex File ExportAvailable
A file export prepared for the Tripletex workflow.
- Calendar Export (iCal)Available
Employees export their schedule as a standard .ics file or add a subscription link, then open it in a compatible calendar application.
Being connected
Already in motion.
Actively in development. Not available today, and we say so clearly.
- Tripletex Direct API SyncIn development
Direct synchronisation between Timento and Tripletex, without a file step.
This list is deliberately short. Unfinished functionality should not dominate the page.
Need something else?
Tell us what needs to connect.
Modern integration development allows Timento to respond to real customer workflows much faster than traditional software development cycles.
Many integration requests can now be assessed and prototyped in days rather than months.
That is rapid assessment and prototyping , not a delivery guarantee or a fixed timeline.
Built differently
Integrations don't have to start with a six-month project.
Modern APIs, flexible cloud architecture and AI-assisted development have changed how quickly software can connect. Timento is built to take advantage of that shift.
Traditional integration development often involved
- Long specifications
- Large development projects
- Long release cycles
- Expensive custom work
Modern integration development can often begin with
- Understanding the workflow
- Identifying the required data
- Checking the external API
- Rapidly prototyping the connection
- Validating it with the customer
This depends on the external system. A connection is only possible where the other side exposes a viable way to exchange data.
The integration conversation
Tell us the workflow. Not just the software name.
The useful question isn't only “Can Timento connect to System X?” It's “What should happen when these systems connect?”
- 01
Your system
What software does the business use?
- 02
Your workflow
What problem should the integration solve?
- 03
The data
What information needs to move?
- 04
Technical check
Does the external system provide an API, import, export or other viable connection?
- 05
Prototype & validate
Where feasible, test the integration approach and confirm that it solves the real workflow.
If the technical check shows there is no viable interface, we say that early instead of selling a project.
Available now
What you can use today.
Two verified export capabilities, both fed by approved working-time information from Review & Approve.
CSV / Excel Payroll Export
AvailableYour data isn't trapped in Timento.
- Worked hours per employee and period
- Approved hours after Review & Approve
- Payroll preparation data
- Reporting exports for further analysis
Tripletex File Export
AvailableA practical bridge to Tripletex.
- Approved working-time information prepared for the Tripletex workflow
- Exported as a file after Review & Approve
- No re-typing of hours between systems
- Not the same as direct API synchronisation
Exported fields follow your own Timento setup. We do not list fields the product does not produce.
Tripletex
From approved hours to the next payroll step.
Tripletex File Export is available today. Direct API synchronisation is the next step, and it is in development.

Calendar Export
Take your schedule with you.
Employees export their Timento schedule in the standard iCalendar (.ics) format and add it to a compatible calendar application.
How it works
Two options: download an .ics file, or add a subscription link so the calendar re-reads the exported schedule. Compatible applications include Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. This is calendar export, not automatic two-way synchronisation.
Not every useful connection needs a complex API. A standards-based calendar export already solves the problem: shifts sit next to everything else in the calendar the employee already uses. Timento stays the source of truth for the working schedule.

Practical interoperability
Not every integration needs an API.
Not every workflow needs an API. Structured exports can be reliable, transparent and easy to control.
CSV
A neutral, portable format that almost every business system can read.
Excel
Familiar to the people who already work with hours, periods and reporting.
Payroll Export
Approved working-time information prepared for the payroll step.
Use the connection that makes sense for the business. A file-based integration is a real integration when it does the job reliably.
Clean data before connection
An integration is only as useful as the data entering it.
Timento helps structure and review workforce data before it moves into the systems that come next.
Connecting an unreviewed export just moves the problem downstream. The review step is where the value is created.

Beyond export
Connections can create better context.
The long-term value of integrations is not simply exporting Timento data. External business information may eventually help enrich:
- Staffing Requirements
- Labour Cost
- Reports & Insights
- Operations Intelligence
This is strategic direction, not existing functionality. Inbound integrations of this kind have not been built.
Integration potential
What could Timento connect with?
Instead of a wall of vendor logos, here are the categories where a connection usually makes sense.
These are categories of integration potential. They are not a list of currently available integrations.
Payroll
Payroll and salary systems.
Accounting
Financial and accounting platforms.
Calendars
Employee and business calendars.
HR
Relevant employee information systems.
Business Intelligence
Reporting and analytics environments.
Operational systems
Industry-specific software and business tools.
Custom workflows
Company-specific systems with viable APIs or import/export capabilities.
Built around real needs
Build the connections customers actually need.
Instead of building hundreds of integrations nobody asks for, Timento can prioritise the systems that solve real customer workflows.
Built around the way your business works.
Request an integration
Missing an integration?
Tell us which system you use, what information needs to move and what the ideal workflow looks like.
We review the request, check what the external system makes available, and come back with an honest assessment.
Topic
Integration Request
What to include
- System / software name
- What should connect?
- What information needs to move?
- Optional additional information
Direction
- Timento → external system
- External system → Timento
- Both
Transparent
Can everything be connected?
Not always. A connection depends on what the external system makes technically available through APIs, imports, exports or other supported interfaces.
But if a viable connection exists, modern development tools can make testing that connection much faster than traditional integration projects.
Connected responsibly
Move the data the workflow needs.
Integration design should exchange only the information required for the intended workflow , not everything a system happens to store.
SecurityCustomer-led
Start with the systems customers actually use.
Tripletex is particularly relevant to the Norwegian market, which is why it comes first.
- Customer demand
- Target markets
- Payroll ecosystems
- Operational requirements
As Timento expands, integration priorities follow the same order. No country roadmap is promised in advance.
One platform doesn't mean one ecosystem.
Timento brings workforce operations together without forcing businesses to replace every system that already works.
Connect what needs connecting. Keep what already works.
Questions & answers
Integration questions, answered
Honest answers about what Timento connects with today, what is in development and how new integration requests are handled.
What integrations does Timento currently support?
Two capabilities are available today: CSV / Excel Payroll Export and Tripletex File Export. Both use approved working-time information from Review & Approve. Everything else on the Integrations page is labelled In development or Planned, or described as integration potential.
Does Timento work with Tripletex?
Yes, through Tripletex File Export. Approved working-time information can be prepared and exported in a file format for the Tripletex workflow, so hours do not have to be re-typed.
Is direct Tripletex API synchronisation available?
Not yet. Tripletex Direct API Sync is in development and is not available today. Until it is released, the supported path is the file export workflow after Review & Approve.
Can employees add Timento shifts to their calendar?
Yes. Calendar Export is available today: employees export their Timento schedule in the standard iCalendar (.ics) format, either as a downloaded file or as a subscription link, and add it to a compatible calendar application such as Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Microsoft Outlook. Timento provides calendar export rather than automatic two-way calendar synchronisation.
Can Timento export data to Excel or CSV?
Yes. CSV / Excel Payroll Export is available and covers worked hours, approved hours, payroll preparation data and reporting exports. Exported fields follow your own Timento setup.
Can Timento connect with software that isn't listed here?
Often, yes , if the other system offers a viable interface. Tell us the system, the workflow and what information needs to move, and we check what is technically available through its API, import or export options.
How quickly can a new integration be built?
It depends on the external system and the complexity of the workflow. Modern APIs and AI-assisted development mean many integration requests can now be assessed and prototyped in days rather than months, but Timento does not guarantee a fixed implementation time before the technical requirements have been reviewed.
Does every system support integration?
No. A connection depends on what the external system makes technically available through APIs, imports, exports or other supported interfaces. If there is no viable interface, we say so early instead of promising a project.
Will Timento have a public API?
A Public API is planned and not available today. Until it exists, the supported route for moving workforce data is the available export capabilities.
